Mr. OuBen's painting "A Thousand Family Blessings in the Cloud Sea Tower" weaves the two traditional themes of "green and green" and "cloud sea" into a living rope, which is completed in one go. There are four most noteworthy points:

1. Build momentum - The sea of clouds cascades diagonally from the top right, like white practice jumping off a cliff, instantly bringing the entire field to life; The cloud head is painted white with a wet pen, and the cloud feet are stained with light ink, one light and one heavy, turning the "flow" into audible sound of water.

2. Coloring - The main mountain in the lower right corner is covered with a thick layer of stone green and stone green, and when it is not yet dry, ochre and cinnabar are added to give the green a sense of autumn; There are only a few red leaves, but they play a lever effect of "a bright red light among thousands of green trees", firmly pulling the gaze back to the main peak.

3. Breathing - The screen is divided into "three breaths": clouds, houses, and corridors. Clouds are the energy, houses are the people, and the vermilion painted corridor halfway up the mountain is the "dragon vein", connecting the "energy" of the left and right mountains into a circular line, creating a winding and far-reaching garden style flow within the narrow 70 cm range.

4. Topic - The settlement of red tiled houses on the mountaintop forms a hidden shape with the character "fu". The cool hall sits in front of the painting eyes, not only capturing the rushing clouds, but also firmly holding the auspicious signs of "ten thousand family blessings" in the clouds, achieving "good fortune does not hinder elegance, and vulgarity does not harm leisure".

If there is room for further consideration: the lower left edge of the cloud sea is slightly uneven. If we can let a layer of light ink "leak" from behind the long corridor, the virtual and real will bite even more; The cinnabar in the building has a slightly similar purity, which can reduce the contrast of temperature by one level, making the clouds and the room "bright" before and after. However, the flaws do not overshadow the beauty. The entire atmosphere is interconnected, and the colors and ink complement each other. This is the unique feature of the "Green Cloud Sea" that Mr. Qu excels at: from a distance, it looks like a steaming sea, and up close, it captures the warmth of Southeast Asia and the dominance of the people of Hunan into a single piece of green and red paper.
